“Things will happen in life that you can’t stop. But, that’s no reason to shut out the world.”
-Pete Sims

Will you become fearless or will you fold?

Life happens constantly to all of us, we’re all enduring the things of this world together. Remember, we have all been through experiences that either make us or break us. The question is, will you become fearless or will you fold?

From the Garden of Gethsemane, through the Gauntlet of indescribable pain and suffering, to the Empty Grave; what the Son of Man chose to endure for us is by far the greatest example of becoming fearless we will ever know. How many of us, knowing what He knew He would go through, would still take that cup and endure the excruciating agony and shame He did?
Even He asked if there was no other way, but concluded by saying “Your will Father, not my own.”

Why did He do it? From a bird’s eye view in Heaven, He looked down and saw us, God’s most favored Creations constantly failing and ruining their relationship with the Father. He chose to sacrifice His position in heaven, to take on the form of a man, (Immanuel) to demonstrate God’s new covenant with mankind. He was the representation of an innocent lamb, whose blood needed to be shed as the ultimate sacrifice to pay for our sins from our past, present and future. He opened up a spiritual connection between our spirit in the flesh with God’s Holy Spirit. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life; no one can go to the Father, except through Him. (John 14:6)

Do you still think what you’ve been through is enough to make you fold? Jesus came to give us peace with all His teachings. He showed us that in a world where we will have trouble, we, just like Him, can overcome this world, even in the most brutal way. (John 16:33)
