F.E.A.R – False Evidence Appearing Real
Whenever we go through trivial situations of hardship, heartache & depression, we often run to God with our problems. Guess what? That’s exactly what He wants. In fact, He wants it all the time.
Our God loves to have fellowship with us, His Masterpiece. Since the beginning of Creation, He chose to have fellowship with us in the Garden of Eden, after that with the Israelites in the Tabernacle and Temple. Then, eventually, He sent His Son as the ultimate sacrifice so every single one of us can have an immediate relationship, an intimate communion through prayer.
Some people let their theology be based on their experience, but let it be based on His presence. He will entrust His secrets with those that will use them – He doesn’t toss pearls to swine. If He tells you to move, don’t FEAR, as those are the lies from the devil. Jesus says “Don’t be afraid – it is I”! (John 6:20) Remain obedient – if He can trust you with little He will give you a lot.
What are you afraid of?
This is our time – if not now when? By faith, people do great things. We live by faith not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
At that unforgettable wedding in Canaan, the mother of the Messiah, Mary asked Jesus to perform a miracle by turning jars of water into wine for fear of embarrassment and a tarnishing of her relatives’ names. She told His disciples to do whatever He asks. This alone is an example that no miracle is too undeserved to ask our Lord for. We must be proficient in our asking and disciplined in our obedience to when our Master speaks to carry out the actions for the miracle to take place. You will never know that Jesus is all that you need until He is all that you’ve got.
Older generations need to step up with a youthful spirit if they want the youth to lead. We live in a modern society with advanced youth who require renewed leaders. Keep your heart soft in the presence of Christ. Those that spend time in the personal presence of God will carry His secrets.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
- Joshua 1:9 NIV
