Dark places form growth!

Complexity is your enemy. Any fool can make something complicated. It is hard to keep things simple.

Do you realize that everything that has life is developed and grown in a dark place? If you’re in a dark place right now, remember you are there for a short period of growth. We grow through what we go through!

Think about every single plant, vine or tree on this wonderful planet of ours – before any of them grow into life or fruit-bearing plants, their small seeds are planted into cold, dark soil. Think of about any human, animal, fish, bird or insect – they all start out as an egg or cell of some sort or the other; each one is formed in a dark, usually wet place found inside the body of their mother.

Even rain falls out of dark, ominous clouds and produces life-giving properties for our magnificent earth. Before our majestic sun rises every day – we must endure a dark, usually cold night.

You see my friends, without darkness there can be no light – dark places form growth. The most peaceful and joyful way to endure the place of darkness is in the presence of our Almighty Creator. Psalms 139 exhorts us: “Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night. There is no such thing as darkness with you. The night, to you, is as bright as the day; there’s no difference between the two.”

“For no person will be justified (made righteous, acquitted, and judged acceptable) in His sight by observing the works prescribed by the Law. For [the real function of] the Law is to make men recognize and be conscious of sin [not mere perception, but an acquaintance with sin which works toward repentance, faith, and holy character].”
