Are you ready to be saved? Are you ready for something greater? If you don’t already know it, I’ll tell you now; our time on this earth is very limited. Whether you live the average age of 70 years, a full 80 to 90 years, or if your life is somehow cut short and you are taken younger, what will all your efforts on this earth have been for?
What is the purpose of waking up each day, struggling through our problems, living with this stress, pain and fear? My friends, there must be more to this life than that. I’m here to tell you that there is. Life on this earth is the classroom. We are tried, tested and twisted everyday, to develop our qualities for a greater existence. It is up to each one of us to develop our characters in a significant way, which is pleasing in the eyes of our Creator.
You must become a master of these qualities in order to inherit the reward of everlasting life that God has promised us: love, joy, faithfulness, kindness, goodness, peacefulness, gentleness, patience and self-control. By portraying these qualities, you must repent for all the times you do wrong and you have to accept our one true King Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Pray constantly and never fear, because you have God on your side, and that my friends is the best thing you could ever hope and dream for.
“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NIV
Today is a new day, remember that the blessings of our Lord are new every morning. Those that have faith in God and strive to produce excellence in His qualities towards others, will truly be blessed beyond comparison with spiritual gifts that others will never understand. Become one of these elite individuals, you’ll thank yourself later.
