Be your best you can be

There is someone silently watching you, wanting you to succeed.

So often we focus our attention on others around us, wondering what they think about us – if we are their cup of tea. We ponder away a large portion of our precious time, concerning our very mind, will and emotions on how we are perceived, received and understood. The remarkable thing is that the very same person you are wondering about, is probably contemplating the same thing about you.

The best you can do every day is to be the best you can be every day. Walk the talk and represent the true essence of your gifts and talents. Stop just saying things and make an exerted effort to display those things you talk about.

Imagine standing in front of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings one day, and you are so filled with the comfort of knowing that every act, notion, and activity you pursued was found favorable in His eyes. What a priceless privilege to be known as a blessing to Him.

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” – these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. (‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭10‬)

One day we will stand in front of the judgment seat and we’ll be asked two questions. The first one will be: “What did you do with my son Jesus?” The second one: “What did you do with the gifts and talents I gave you?”

What will your answers be? If these questions make you nervous – good! Because they will grant you excess into eternal life with Him, or into eternal damnation of ‘I don’t even want to think about it’.

“The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! “
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬
