Breathe In, Breathe Out

“Tomorrow is not promised and the past cannot be changed therefore live each day to the fullest and know that every new day is a blessing.”

-Nishan Panwar

The fact that you opened your eyes this morning to a new day is a blessing. The fact that you were sleeping the whole night whilst your body remembered to breathe and keep you alive is remarkable. The fact that no matter what happens during your day, you will survive and life will go on.

I am a victim of falling into the trap of allowing my problems to suffocate my blessings. It’s so easy to forget what we have when we are dealing with issues related to pain, fear, and sadness. Why is it that our minds provoke our emotions leading to a mental setback?

The reason for this my friends is because we don’t have enough faith. We are too decisive in attempting to deal with our issues ourselves, rather than turning to our Heavenly Father who heals instantly. He is the redeemer of hope. He is the ambassador for love and joy. He is the overseer of compassion. Allow God to release the power of His Spirit through His omnipotent presence by giving Him the reigns of control.

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.”
– ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:2-4‬ ‭NIV

God works miracles through our weaknesses, which is why we should not fear being weak. Rather, embrace this place of distasteful mess and unrest because it’s here that God’s glory can be displayed.
