Losers quit when they fail. Winners fail until they succeed.
Ever get tired of failing? Do you realize that success is one relationship away? So, what does success look like to you?
To the secular world – success can be defined as the accomplishment of a desired goal or the attainment of wealth, fame, or power. Success can be achieved in various areas of life, including personal, professional, academic, or social spheres.
For some, success may mean achieving financial stability or becoming a well-known public figure. For others, success can mean reaching a certain level of education or career advancement. Success can also be measured by personal achievements, such as overcoming a difficult challenge or achieving a long-term goal.
Ultimately, success is a personal and unique concept that varies from person to person. It is important to define what success means to you and strive towards achieving it in a way that aligns with your values and beliefs.
My opinion on success is not measured by material possessions, fame or power, but rather by the degree to which I am fulfilling God’s plan for my life. This means that success may be found in a life of serving others, being a good steward of resources, or in living a life of integrity and character. My success is found in the degree to which I am growing in my relationship with God, and in my ability to love and forgive others.
Failure is a stepping stone to success and is often required for you to qualify what success is.
Success is not only about personal achievement, but also about being a blessing to others. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus says, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” This means that success can be defined as the degree to which one is a positive influence on others, and the degree to which they are able to bring glory to God through their actions.
Amalgamating these various concepts of success will include the glory, honor, and praise to God Almighty into your normal working day. The key is to bloom where you are planted.
The wisest man that’s ever lived – King Solomon, tells us in Ecclesiastes 3 that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the sun. He poses this question: “What do workers gain from their toil?” He then answers: “I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil – this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.”
Whatever is, has already been; and what will be, has been before; and God will call the past to account.
