“I’m most proud of the blessings that God has bestowed upon me, in my life. He’s given me the vision to truly see that you can fall down, but you can still get back up. Hopefully I’ll learn from my mistakes and have the opportunity to strengthen and improve the next thing I do.”
– Martin Lawrence
Whenever we’ve experienced something in life, we feel much more confident talking about it as we know it’s possible and true. If we’ve encountered it more than once, we know for a fact we can find confidence in its truth.
What I’m referring to today, is the impactful power of prayer. If you’ve been blessed enough to experience God’s awesomeness from prayer, then delight in the fact that your faith is pleasing to Him. Without faith, our prayers are futile! There are certain things I have prayed hard for, whilst many others joined me with the same prayer and in God’s timing, all was revealed and our prayers were answered.
We tend to forget that we are surrounded by more spirituality than we could even imagine. We read so many stories in the Bible about divine power being used from the Holy Spirit to change the personal situations in people’s lives – from curing sickness to raising the dead. When Jesus left earth and ascended to heaven, it was to allow the Holy Spirit to enter into the earth, providing us with greater power than just the presence of Jesus. That same Holy Spirit still exists today my friends. It exists in the power of prayer and your faith.
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
- James 5:16 NIV
Who do you need to pray for today? What situation would you like to change using the Power of Prayer? Put your faith in this privilege that God has given us and change someone’s life today, even if it’s your own.
