“The greatest glory in living lies not in never failing, but in rising everytime we fall.”
– Nelson Mandela
Who gets to decide on the narrative for your life? Do you decide how the story is written or do you allow the forces of negativity to decide? Who’s in control?
Now, if this is the most difficult season of your life, you still get to choose the outcome. Some people say: “I am walking through the valley of the shadow of death.” These people allow themselves to believe that the troubles they are facing right now are out of their control and have been cast in their lives like a tornado violently swirling in smooth plains. Others will say: “God has set a table for me to sit at before my enemies.” These people understand the validity of what they are enduring because they know that God will always overcome any struggle the devil tries to put before them. As much as evil starts the turmoil, God will always finish it and use it productively in your life, so long as you choose to believe!
You have no idea how blessed you are till you look at your life through renewed eyes of faith! There is currently a hole in your story. When Jesus was hung on a cross and was crucified, the story did not end there, because early one Sunday morning, three days later, he was resurrected and he met Thomas. He showed Thomas the holes in his hands and the story continues to this day. The gospel has been spread all over the world, the same gospel that was started from Jesus’ time on earth. The same gospel I am speaking about right now! Don’t doubt the truth my friends because the truth will set you free.
There are 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 31,205 verses and over 2,500 promises in the Bible. This is how much God wants to talk to you! You cannot even fathom the number of thoughts He has for you. He wants to have a relationship with us. In fact, He created us for fellowship with Him.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10 NIV
Sometimes you feel like giving up, but you don’t. Sometimes the lesson you learn is required for the next best thing in your life.
Never Give Up! You’ve done this plenty of times before! You’ve got this!
