“You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.”
– Winston Churchill
It’s quite remarkable how different people are. There are billions of us, all possessing two eyes and ears, one nose and mouth, yet we all look different. Call it evolution or accidental if you want, but let’s be realistic, it takes a really magnificent artist to get that right and to continue getting it right.
Physical appearance is just one aspect, we all have our own unique voices and personalities too. We each develop our own mannerisms and attitudes as well. Some people get along and some people drive each other crazy. So just how do we tackle all these differences?
The trick my friends, is to love yourself first. Everything that separates you from everyone else is the reason why you exist. Fall in love with all the attributes that combine to create you. Once you do that, you’ll learn to embrace them and enhance them for the people around you to start enjoying. If you feel like you are unhappy with certain parts of yourself, please remove them immediately.
Enjoy this day with the refreshing news that you can be loved. There are people out there waiting to bathe in the essence you create in society. Give yourself and them the opportunity to love the best parts of you. Remember, we love because God first loved us.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”
– Isaiah 26:3-4 NIV
You are strong.
You are beautiful.
You are resilient.
