When we make ourselves available, we are able to do great things. If we sacrifice our selfish desires and yield ourselves to the command of God, He can produce miracles through us.
Have you ever prayed for a miracle and seen the results almost immediately or at a later stage? I have prayed for many things in my life and I have seen powerful, rapid healing in front of my eyes. When we completely yield to our Abba in Heaven through worship, praise and a servant-attitude, we grant God the authority to use our temple as a house of miracles.
When I am in this state of obedience, the Lord has put me in front of people through random encounters and used me as a powerful tool in healing others emotionally, spiritually and physically. I have seen physical pain in people’s bodies being removed within minutes of praying in Jesus’ name. I have seen testimonies and tears coming out in short conversations with people that I’ve never met before. Sometimes these encounters are the start of fantastic friendships of exhortation. Our problem as humans is that we often limit God because of our small-minded, carnal thinking.
Pray for miracles.
I want to encourage you to make yourself available. Walk in the essence of Acts 20:35: “And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” To be part of the miracle instead of always asking for miracles will allow your faith tank to be rejuvenated beyond what it can hold. Consequently, this will allow your cup to overflow onto others in severe need around you.
