Take Control Of Your Thoughts

You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.
– Dan Millman

I am a victim of my own thoughts. I subconsciously allow my mind to be controlled by the unconscious thought process that seems to happen in my head occasionally. What I’ve come to realise is that this can be very dangerous and detrimental to your life. Consequently, it could encourage you to make unnecessary, frantic decisions which with the right mind control and patience, could easily be avoided.

We must take control of our thoughts and find a way to channel them into constructive pathways of success. This certainly requires training and dedication. However, once achieved it could certainly be beneficial in how you make future decisions. Large or small, a decision needs to be made and if it is done so through this way, it will certainly have a positive impact on the release of unnecessary, self-constructed stress and anxiety.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

– ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
